California Privacy Notice
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents who use JoinLGCY.com, including job applicants. It describes our practices over the past 12 months and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”).
Personal information we collect
We collect the following categories, from you, from your device and from our own records:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address, browser and cookie identifiers
- Professional or employment-related information: the market you want to sell in, your sales experience and your quiz answers
- Internet or other electronic network activity: pages viewed, sections viewed, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, form interactions and referring links
- Geolocation data: approximate location derived from IP address (not precise geolocation)
- Inferences: the topics and roles that seem to interest you, based on your activity
We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not use any personal information to infer characteristics about you beyond recruiting interests.
Why we collect it
We use these categories for the purposes in our Privacy Policy: recruiting and evaluating applicants, contacting you, routing you to a local sales leader, measuring and improving the Site, security and fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Who we disclose it to
For a business purpose, we disclose each category above to service providers and contractors (website hosting, customer engagement and messaging, spam protection), to LGCY sales leaders and affiliates, and to authorities when the law requires it.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as the CCPA defines those terms. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Retention
We keep each category for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, generally for the life of the recruiting relationship plus the period required by employment and record-keeping laws, then delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
Subject to legal exceptions, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes and who we disclosed it to
- Get a copy of specific pieces of personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we collected from you
- Opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share)
- Not be discriminated or retaliated against for using these rights
How to make a request
Email privacy@lgcypower.com with the subject “California Privacy Request,” or write to us at 3333 Digital Drive #600, Lehi, UT 84043. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. To protect you, we will verify your identity by matching information you give us to information we have. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity directly.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.
